Claims Management Module 1 - Introduction

This seminar provides participants with a brief overview of the workers' compensation system. Employers will receive information on some of the law and policies associated with the adjudication and management of claims by WorkSafeBC. Other topics covered include: initial notification, reporting procedures, investigation requirements and how to identify and deal with claims issues. In addition, this module will review some of the recent changes in the processing of claims at WorkSafeBC introduced by WorkSafeBC's online Claims Management Solutions (CMS).
