New Joint Committee Members - JHSC Right to Refuse, Consultation & Making Recommendations (virtual)

Pre-requisite: Each participant is required to individually complete WorkSafeBC’s 2 hour online e-learning course before attending any EAO New Joint Committee Members virtual seminar.

Two-Step Registration Process:
Step (1) - Select the desired virtual seminar. Click on the cart and enter the company and participant information. Every participant’s name and email address must be registered in order for each participant to receive materials and a certificate of completion.
Step (2) - Every participant registered in Step (1) will receive a confirmation email with a link to register with GoToTraining. Only those participants LOGGING IN for the virtual seminar will need to click this link to complete the registration process. Participants who will sit in with someone logging in are asked to ignore Step (2).

Description: This seminar provides information to new members on the right to refuse, consulting with workers and employers and how to create effective safety recommendations. This module is one of four modules that have been developed to meet the requirements of 3.27 of the OHS Regulation.

Duration: 90 minutes
