Do I need to register for an account?
Yes, all seminar participants must have their own online learning account. Individual online learning accounts will be used for all future course selections.
Only participants who are registered for a seminar will receive a certificate.

How can new Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee members obtain mandatory training? Are EAO virtual seminars sufficient?
- 2-hour online component from WorkSafeBC; and
- New Joint Committee Member training, 4 modules, by virtual seminar (90 minutes each) offered by the Employers’ Advisers Office
Mandatory training can also be delivered by the employer or external training providers. To find training near you, contact the health and safety association for your industry, or local OHS training providers.
How do I access my certificate?
Make sure you are logged into your online learner account. On the top right hand area, click on either “My Courses”, or “My Profile”. Then, on the left sidebar, click on “My Certifications”. After a seminar, our staff will have to manually record the attendance, so please be patient. Once you have been marked as attended, your certificate, and any other certificates from previously taken seminars, will be listed here. To download or print your certificate, click on the “View” button, then click on the “Wall Certificate” button. Your certificate will then be downloaded. You can now save or print your certificate.
I think I may have lost my virtual seminar certificate, or didn’t receive it. Can I get a new one?
Yes. Please log into your LMS account to download/print out your certificate.
Do I need to complete the Claim Management – Fundamentals before registering for the Claims Management – Stay at Work/Return to Work?
We recommend completing Claims Management – Fundamentals prior to registering for this seminar.
What is the difference between the Claim Management – Introduction (e-Learning) vs the Claims Management – Fundamentals (in-person)? Do I need to take both courses?
The Claims Management – Introduction (e-Learning course) provides a brief overview of the workers compensation claims process in 90-120 minutes. The Claims Management - Fundamentals (in-person) seminar provides greater information dealing with the fundamentals for managing a worker’s compensation claim (from an employer’s perspective). Participants do not need to take both courses. However, if you seek a more in-depth understanding of the claims management, we recommend you attend the Claims Management – Fundamental (in-person) seminar.
